If Halloween is for  children to have fun, why shouldn't Christians celebrate Halloween?

                                            Halloween

·        Was started in Europe by the ancient people called Celts and their priests who were known as the Duids.

·        It was brought to US in the 19th century by Scottish and Irish immigrants

·        It become prominent in America only within the past two or three generations

·         The word itself, "Halloween," actually has its origins in the Catholic Church.

·         In the year 900, all saints‘day was moved from May to November 1st.

·         the reason was to refocus the attention of the people away from unholy things such as the vigil of  samhain, Celts (priests), who occupied northern and western Europe ( France  and British Iles) practice Druidism as their religion.

·         November 1st was set aside to honor all saints who did not have their own holiday.

·         All Saints’ Day was also known as all hallows.

·         October 1st all Hallows Even was later shortened to Halloween.

·         Halloween pick the name from feast of All hallows (all saints) but it did not get anything...
